okay.. now im in south carolina, mrytle beach. (:
the housing here is extremely good. there's an oven, all kinds of cooking utensils, a washing machine a dryer.. everything.. the only thing that is lacking here is INTERNET. i cant believe there is no internet here. so me and wanling are pretty desperate.. we actually sit outside the apartment(sometimes in the cold) to try get internet.. i will think of sth.. i need internet definitely..
anyway to elaborate on teh housing.. me and wanling is sharing a cosy room.
in the past few days many things have happened.. i guess the most crucial thing is where i went JFK myself from LGA. JFK and LGA are both airports in new york city. well did this all because of the stupid social security screw up. i was told that LGA has an international wing. and when i reached there, i realised that no. there isnt. stupid interexchange.. never give good and relevant information. so i had to go down to JFK to get to the international customs borders in order to edit my form to settle the social security issue. and while wanling stayed in LGA, i took the bus down myself. scary.. but im glad.. cause i managed to get things settled and i managed to rush back to LGA in time for the flight to myrtle beach..
so i think im going to start work either today or tml.. going to have training later at 4pm..(: im going to be working at the attractions department. which is at live concert.. i know it may be fun.. but im quite scared. because im not exactly a rock person.. e only rock people i know of are the beatles and the eagles. AND i dont even knw the songs they sing.. haha.. lousy and bad.. because we are supposed to provide "kick ass service" to the guests by chatting with them. haha i can just imagine how awkward it will be if i cant answer their question because i completely dont knw about the band. oh wells
but the employer here is good. a very nice guy who loves his food. haha i was in his car.. and oh man.. his car has crumbs empty mac cups, bottles on the floorboard.. haha explains the size explains the love for food. i volunteer to help clean up (:
i guess im happy here. south carolina is wayy better than new york.. more peaceful more likeable.. but im quite far away from shopping centres and all. so for now im confined to the apartment.. not doing anything much except slacking
but anw, on the day we arrived, the employer brought us around hard rock park where we will be working at! its a reli reli cool place.
sat on the most thrilling ride there. it looks scary from outside. haah but after the ride, me and wanling came down and we were like " actually ok la. not that scary" haha but it was sure fun. and there's a fireworks session everyday at 9pm very very pretty. see wan's entry for the video.
i think wanling will be uploading pictures and videos so i will skip that part totally. i have much more difficulty getting the net than here prolly because mine is XP and hers is vista. hmm. but i get irritated sometimes with the stupid connection.
im missing the people back home. (: hopefully i will be able to get a more steady internet than i will upload some pictures.
