okay update on Orlando. (:

day1

arrved at Orlando and we made our way immediately to Super8 Motel, the place where we were supposed to be staying for three nights. surprisingly, the room was way better than we thought. unexpensive yet nice. (: best of all, there was free internet and free breakfast! and unlimited coffee. haha. and we had our personal ensuite. (:

went for lunch at Long John Silvers. haha come to think of it, we were a little bit dumb to have bought LJS when we are in US! afterall, we could have eaten this in singapore. but oh wells. =)

decided to explore Orlando a little bit, so we took the public transport "lynx" bus service down to the Prime Outlets. $1.75 only! (:

The Prime Outlets in Orlando. shopping once again. luckily for us, we saw that most of the shops here were either more expensive than Tanger Outlets in Myrtle Beach or otherwise, about the same prices. PHEW. i believe i will be really upset if it's cheaper given that i spent so much in Myrtle Beach. BUT. Victoria Secret's much cheaper here. and i spent so much over at Broadway at the beach. bought many stuffs at high retail rates. SOBS.

first day was just a day of shopping,shopping and more shopping. quite proud of ourselves because we didnt spend much this time. not like the other time at Tanger Outlets. i guess we both kind of realised that we are running out of cash. haha. (i bought an esprit jacket for $16USD!!) greatest deal so far i think(: hahahaha HAPPY

day 2

this day was the best day i had in Orlando. visiting the Universal Studios. (:

Universal Studios was really crowded and packed with people. the amount of people was overwhelming. Long since i have seen such a crowd. haha that's wanling in the looong queue.

our entrance ticket. which was also $90.50USD for 1 day 2 parks entrance. (2 parks= entrance to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios) damn expensive right. we were afraid that we will not be able to finish the whole 2 parks on one day. so contemplated on whether we should buy the 2 days entrance ticket instead. $119USD. of course, stinginess told us NO and we were determined to finish playing the whole park in one day.

first ride inside. Shrek in 4d version! the animation for this is really cool. we sit on moving chairs and it feels like we are inside the movie. i rembr a scene where the donkey inside the movie blew his nose and there was water droplets falling on us! that really felt disgusting because i imagined mucus all over me. =S
second ride. nick toons! this ride is another animation ride where we sit on a rocket and pretend we are flying it. there's this part with spongebob inside and its so so so adorable. i love spongebob and patrick!!

me and wanling in the extra long queue line. which i forgot to mention. the queue lines here are like an average of 40minutes for one..

twister! has a really real animation of a hurricane. i really thought i was inside one. i think universal studios does win in this area. their animations are honestly good. i bet they spent tons tons tons on each ride.

has the opportunity to ride the simpsons ride!! cute ride(: its a new ride, newly opened. =) love it too!

the man in black ride! we had guns for this and we get to shoot aliens down! wahaha. i know it may sound childish but i tell u, its fun! actually still ok la. i prefer thrilling rides myself =X

me and wanling in another queue line. queuing up for this ride called disaster. haha this picture does nothing much but 1)SHOW THAT IM SERIOUSLY BLACK 2)display the shark behind us. right smack in the middle wahhahah

well, there are still many other rides. but they are all in my camera.. will upload once i dig my cable out of my overflowing luggage. (:

but anyway, while we were still at universal studios, it started raining rather heavily. and we have not even went over to islands of adventure yet! islands of adventure is where all the thrilling coasters are and its where i wanted to be!! both of us started to think whether we should upgrade to a 2day pass and come back the next day again. but lucky for us, the rain stopped after awhle and we made our way over to islands of adventure. (: found a secret way to bypass all the queues. tell the operators that we want to be single riders so we can just fill up empty seats. then after they let us in through the fast way, most of the time me and wanling still end up sitting together anyway. dont know why either. but it was like a VIP pass. used our little secret to bypass many queues and save time. hahhaa

and the blessing about raining was that many families left because of the rain so the queues were much shorter. except that we were drenched from head to toe. =S

favourite rides: 1) the mummy 2) spiderman 3) duelling dragons. YAY

really cool ride. where we sit on a coaster and the animation inside of the movie mummy inside is really real and cool !

duelling dragons is another one of our favourite rides. consists of the fire and the ice dragons which are two different rides totally. i prefer the fire one though. more thrilling! (:

didnt know what to do, so we decided to go for a game of putt putt! took a bus down international drive and explored the pretty gardens over here!
